Late Night Thoughts
A jar to contain all my late night thoughts, ramblings, and writings. Some writings will be fresh, others will be from “the vault” of old memories, in a different time. My hope is that my words resonate. That you feel understood, they bring some peace, some comfort, that they somehow make you feel connected during the loneliest season of your life. I’m so glad you stumbled upon here…
9/14/26 Just Don’t Make It Worse
Sometimes there are seasons of life where the goal is, to just not make it worse.
Your job right now is just don't make it worse.

9/3/26 Scariest Place
The scariest place isn’t feeling out of control
It isn’t the rage within
The scariest place is when everything goes dark
When the thoughts quiet and they say why bother anymore
When the feeling of loneliness envelopes you
Wondering if there’s even a point anymore
When the numbness creeps into your bones
In those moments the heart pulses,
Oh dear god let me feel again
Let me feel
Let me feel
9/3/26 What If?
For years I told myself I wasn’t
But what if,
What if,
What if I was?
8/30/26 Children’s Late Night Death Ramblings

8/24/26
What makes death easier is not remembering
What makes death harder is not remembering
